Aphaniptera : A group of wingless insects, of which the flea in the type. See Flea.
Aphanipterous : Of or pertaining to the Aphaniptera.
Aphanite : A very compact, dark-colored /ock, consisting of hornblende, or pyroxene, and feldspar, but neither of them in perceptible grains.
