Pinnulated : Having pinnules.
Pinnule : One of the small divisions of a decompound frond or leaf. See Illust. of Bipinnate leaf, under Bipinnate. ;; Any one of a series of small, slender organs, or parts, when arranged in rows so as to have a plumelike appearance; as, a pinnule of a gorgonia; the pinnules of a crinoid.
Pinnywinkles : An instrument of torture, consisting of a board with holes into which the fingers were pressed, and fastened with pegs.
Pinocle : A game at cards, played with forty-eight cards, being all the cards above the eight spots in two packs. ;; See Penuchle.
Pinole : An aromatic powder used in Italy in the manufacture of chocolate. ;; Parched maize, ground, and mixed with sugar, etc. Mixed with water, it makes a nutritious beverage.

Pintado : A fish (Scomberomorus regalis) similar to, but larger than, the Spanish mackerel, and having elongated spots, common about Florida and the West Indies. ;; Any bird of the genus Numida. Several species are found in Africa. The common pintado, or Guinea fowl, the helmeted, and the crested pintados, are the best known. See Guinea fowl, under Guinea.

Pintail : A northern duck (Dafila acuta), native of both continents. The adult male has a long, tapering tail. Called also gray duck, piketail, piket-tail, spike-tail, split-tail, springtail, sea pheasant, and gray widgeon. ;; The sharp-tailed grouse of the great plains and Rocky Mountains (Pediocaetes phasianellus); -- called also pintailed grouse, pintailed chicken, springtail, and sharptail.
