Trilobita : An extinct order of arthropods comprising the trilobites.
Trilobite : Any one of numerous species of extinct arthropods belonging to the order Trilobita. Trilobites were very common in the Silurian and Devonian periods, but became extinct at the close of the Paleozoic. So named from the three lobes usually seen on each segment.
Trilobitic : Of, pertaining to or containing, trilobites; as, trilobitic rocks.
Trilocular : Having three cells or cavities; as, a trilocular capsule; a trilocular heart.
Trilogy : A series of three dramas which, although each of them is in one sense complete, have a close mutual relation, and form one historical and poetical picture. Shakespeare's " Henry VI." is an example.
